€10,992,55 government funding allocated to roads in Louth for 2025

Of the €10,992,55 government funding allocated to roads in Louth for 2025 that was announced today by Department of Transport, funding is to go towards items including Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Works; Specific Improvement Grants; Bridge Rehabilitation Works on Regional and Local Roads; and Safety Improvement Works on Regional and Local Roads.

The overall breakdown of the €10,992,55 is here. Specific projects and the amount allocated to each for 2025 are as follows:

Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Works - €256,500

  • Road number: R132  - Road overlay and drainage works - €171,000

Specific Improvement Grants - €198,000

Strategic Regional and Local - €380,000
