ESB PowerCheck after 12.30 today
ESB Networks is working to restore areas hit by power outages across north Louth as a result of Storm Éowyn and is already making progress in the face of strong winds.
One power outage in the Ramparts area in Dundalk has been restored, bringing power back to an area where 759 customers were affected.
At the moment in the Dundalk area, around 4730 customers are affected in the Ard Easmuinn/Mount Avenue area, with a restore time currently unknown.
A further 18 customers are out of power in the Carrick Road area in the town, and another 17 on the Ardee Road area in Dundalk.
Further outages outside the town are in Newtownbalregan, Kilkerley, Knockbridge, Little Mills, Haggardstown and Blackrock. On the Cooley Peninsula, areas affected include Upper Deerpark; Jenkinstown - with parts of this area also seeing power restored; and Bush.
Heading south of Dundalk and towards mid Louth, parts of Dromiskin are without power, as are parts of Ardee and Dunleer.
