The Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford have proudly announced a €3,500 donation to the mental health charity SoSad, chosen as the hotel’s Charity of the Year for 2023-2024.
This significant contribution is said to be part of the hotel’s commitment to supporting causes that are close to the hearts of its staff and the local community.
The funds were raised through a unique and heartwarming campaign, “Bernie’s Ducks,” a map-selling initiative featuring rubber ducks. Spearheaded by the dedicated staff at the Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford, this creative and fun activity captured the spirit of the community and raised vital funds for an essential cause.

SoSad, a charity dedicated to providing mental health support and suicide prevention services, was selected by the hotel team through an internal vote. This decision highlights the deep personal connections many staff members have to the charity’s mission, making it an especially meaningful collaboration.
Commenting on the partnership, Natalie Haake, Sales & Marketing Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford, said: “We are honored to support SoSad, a charity that carries out such crucial work in our community.
