M.A.D Youth Theatre in Dundalk is set to hold an Open Day

M.A.D Youth Theatre, the award-winning youth theatre known for original plays and dynamic projects, said it is thrilled to announce its 14th Annual Open Day on September 3rd and 4th, 2024.

This event invites young people aged 12 to 18 to audition and potentially join one of Dundalk’s most vibrant creative spaces.
At M.A.D Youth Theatre, it’s not just about acting; it’s about fostering social and personal growth.

Through theatre projects, festivals, trips, and the popular MAD Couture fashion show, members develop confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills.

The Open Day will select participants for two programs:
- Ages 12 to 13: A short-term program introducing younger members to theatre basics.
- Ages 14 to 18: A full-time program offering deeper engagement in theatre and personal development.

"Our mission goes beyond performance – it’s about helping young people grow and find their voice," says Artistic Director Kwasie Boyce.

M.A.D Youth Theatre is in Partnership with the An Táin Arts Centre.
