Fiann Fail's Emma Coffey is 'over the moon' to be re-elected in Dundalk South

Fianna Fail's Emma Coffey celebrating being re-elected

Fianna Fail's Emma Coffey said she was “over the moon” after being re-elected in Dundalk South with 1, 572 votes.

Emma, speaking to Louth Live/Dundalk Democrat said: “I am delighted, just over the moon, really glad.

“I increased my vote by 50 per cent on last time.

“I think it's clear the centre held, which is always good in politics

“We just had an amazing campaign, my team was brilliant and the support I got on the doors was great.

“Really glad I have a mandated for five years.”
