Plans lodged for 14 buildings at Dundalk North Business Park

Planning also provides for filling station and river walk along the Castletown River

Plans have been lodged with Louth County Council for the development of 14 buildings at the Dundalk North Business Park on the Armagh Road in Dundalk.

McWilliams Capital Limited has applied to the local authority for planning permission for development on a site of 26.4778 hectares. The application seeks permision for the provision of infrastructure utilising constructed and part constructed infrastructure carried out under previous planning permissions.

It seeks permission to construct 14 warehouse/logistics/light industrial buildings, each with ancillary offices, plant, parking and yards - the overall gross floor area of the warehouse/logistics/light industrial units is 68,531sqm.

The application also seeks planning permission for a fuel filling station with associated retail, restaurant/cafe facilities, signage and car parking and car wash, as well as the provision of a river walk along the Castletown River.

It also provides for internal roads infrastructure; water infrastructure and foul water, as well as utilities infrastructure and connections including substations. 

A decision is due on the application by 18 February 2023, with submissions due by 28 January.
