Louth gardai investigate burglary in Dunleer

Louth gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred at approximately 7:40 pm in a house in the Drumcar area of Dunleer, on Saturday 26th November.

It is believed the owners of the house returned home to find three males running across their garden fleeing the property and they subsequently escaped in what  was possibly a dark coloured Audi A3.

A number of belongings including jewellery was taken from the premises in the course of this incident.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.

Gardai are urging anyone with information or anyone who witnessed or may have dashcam footage of any unusual activity in the Drumcar or Dromin areas at the time to contact Dunleer Garda Station on 041 685 1202
