Creative Spark Downtown Hub, 42/43 Clanbrassil Street Dundalk, is hosting a Christmas market which starts tomorrow, Friday December 2nd and runs to the 4th of December.
The public are cordially invited to the launch tomorrow, Friday 2nd at 4pm until 9pm, with light refreshments of mince pies and mulled wine.
The market will feature a collection of local artists, ranging from a variety of disciplines in glass, sculpture, painting, caricatures, print, jewellery, mixed media, textiles, and ceramics.
A creative collection for the perfect Christmas gifts.
The list of artists who will be attending are as follows; Aruana Roncada, Jack Allen, Claire Reilly Fine Art Design, Paula Kavanagh Photography, Jennie Richie, wolf and shadow, Jodie Allen, Lisa Doyle, Tracy Fry, Bridge Street Studios and Lore Natural Skincare.
Jack Allen Caricatures will be in attendance for all three days.
Caricatures are a fantastic way to take a break from the shopping, sit back and relax.
Before you know it, Jack has drawn you as a silly version of yourself!
Also attending will be Bridge Street Studios a thriving hub of art, design and craft in Dundalk, Co. Louth.
The studio houses nine artists with a wide range of high-quality art and craftwork made in the studios, including sculpture, textiles, felt, printmaking, ceramics and painting.
“We are delighted to bring a selection of art and craft to the Downtown Hub, where you can meet the makers, purchase Christmas gifts and arrange to commission unique pieces of work.”
Christmas Market Opening hours will be:
Friday 2nd December 4pm-9pm (launch night with mulled wine)
Saturday 3rd December from 12pm - 6pm
Sunday 4th December from 12pm - 5pm.
