For the second successive week Edward Lawrence posted the best score in the Tiernan’s Centra Singles Stableford.
Having shot 36pts over 14 holes at the end of the February, Hanratty showed he had no problem moving up to 18 holes as he blazed his way around the course in 46pts to once again take the Division 4 honours.
His round included two four pointers at the fourth and 11th as well as three pointers at the second, third, seventh, 10th, 12th, 13th 16th and 18th.
Paul O’Callaghan (12) claimed the Division 1 prize with 42pts while Charlie Monahan (12) took Division 2 with the same total and Sean O’Sullivan (19) was the Division 3 winner with 43pts. Peter Rogers returned the best gross with a score of 34pts.

The winner of the 18 Hole Stableford competition played on Saturday March 5 and Tuesday March 8 was Bernie Mac Guinness. Bernie shot a superb 41 points to claim the top spot. Maeve Ahern was runner up, with an impressive 39 points. She pipped Geraldine Mohan into third place on countback.
