Death of well known Dundalk publican Tom Clarke passes away
The death has occurred of well known Dundalk publican Tom Clarke. He passed away yesterday, peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
He is known for running Tom Clarke's Bar on Quay Street in Dundalk, the pub is now run by his son James.
Tom is survived by his wife Alice, sons Thomas, Liam, Michael, Robert and James, and daughters Alice O’Reilly and Isabel Hoey.
He is reposing at the residence of his son Michael, Waterview Lower Point Road, today from 11am to 9pm.
His removal takes place on Friday morning at 10.30am, driving to Tom Clarke's Bar for 10.40am then proceeding on foot to Saint Joseph's Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Dundalk.
