Irish Water is working to end what it calls "the unacceptable practice of discharging untreated wastewater into Carlingford Lough", by developing a new wastewater treatment plant as part of the Omeath Sewerage Scheme.

They are inviting people to an information evening in the The Dolmen Centre, Omeath to learn more about the next phase of this project.

During this information evening members of the project team will be available to answer any questions anyone may have in relation to the project.

The event takes place on Tuesday November 27 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in The Dolmen Centre in Omeath.
