Met Éireann issue weather warning for Louth
Met Éireann have today issued a yellow weather warning for Louth and 12 other counties for tomorrow Friday 9 November, valid from 6 am to 6 pm.
In the warning Met Éireann say, heavy rain will lead to accumulations of around 25 to 40mm but may exceed these limits in mountainous areas.
In a wind warning for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal, Met Éireann say southeasterly winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h with gusts of 90 to 110km/hr.
Gusts will exceed these values in exposed coastal areas and on higher ground, especially in the southeast.
The wind warning is also for tomorrow Friday 9 November, but valid from 8 am to 7 pm.
The warning has also been shared by the Road Safety Authority today via Twitter.
