Gardaí in Dundalk are appealing for witnesses to a hit an run incident in Kilcurry overnight to come forward.
As has been reported by LMFM news this morning, the incident occurred shortly after midnight in Roskeagh in Kilcurry.
According to reports, a man and woman were taken from the scene by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda.
The incident happened when the car they were travelling in was hit by another car, which failed to stop.
Their injuries are said to be non life threatening.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Gardaí in Dundalk.
