A revised planning proposal submitted to Louth County Council would see 43 new residential units constructed on the Dublin Road, adjacent to the Glenwood estate, should permission be granted.
The application which was submitted by Torca Developments, initially sought to construct 36 units on the site when it was lodged with Louth County Council in March of this year.
Information lodged with the Council at the end of July sees the revised proposal increase to 43 units.
The 43 units comprise of 14 two and half-storey semi-detached houses, three two-storey end terrace houses and two two-storey apartment blocks incorporating eight apartments.
The revised application also includes the provision of "new vehicular and pedestrian entrance to the Dublin Road and pedestrian and cycle access to the adjacent Glenwood and Rockfield Manor estates."
A decision on the application is due on 23 August 2018.
