Large housing development planned for Castlebellingham

An application for planning permission for the construction of 51 new dwellings in Castlebellingham, has been submitted this week to Louth County Council.

According to development description, the development would see 51 dwellings constructed in "terraced, semi-detached and detached format and will range in height from 1-2 no. storeys."

The application also proposes to develop a new access point off the Dublin road (R132) for vehicular access.

Included in the proposed development works are "internal access roads, car parking, footpaths, cycle paths, open space, public lighting, landscaping, services and boundary treatments."

The application is currently in the pre-validation stage. A decision is due on the application by 23 September 2018, with submissions due by 2 September 2018.
