Proposed Dublin Road housing development at planning stage

Plans are afoot to construct 36 new homes on the Dublin Road in Dundalk, adjacent to the Glenwood estate. 

The application has been submitted to Louth County Council by Torca Developments and seeks to build 36 two storey homes in the planned new development which will be situated behind the Niall Clarke Oils premises. 

That figure would consist of four two-bed semi-detached homes, 10 three-bed semi detached homes, five two-bed mid-terraced houses, 14 three-bed terraced houses, two four-bed semi-detached houses and one four-bed detached homes. 

The plans also include provisions for two new vehicular and pedestrian access points off the Glenwood estate. 

The application, still in the pre-validation stage, is due to have been decided on by May 2nd.
