Speaking to the Dundalk Democrat, Angela said: “I was delighted to win, as this is the third year I entered the competition and I never got anywhere before. Third time lucky I guess! It has inspired me to push myself and write more this year. A big thank you to The Irish Sun who printed my article and to TUI travel who sponsored the prize.”
The talented Dublin-based writer was thrilled to receive her award last Friday night at a dinner in Thomas Prior House, Ballsbridge, Dublin.
Angela also won a holiday with TUI Travel, who sponsored her award, as part of her prize.
The event was also sponsored by the Spanish Tourism Office and Ibiza Tourist Board.
