Met Éireann issue another snow warning for Louth

As relatively balmy conditions warm up the country today with bright sunshine in many areas, Met Éireann has issued another weather warning for snow and ice for Louth.

They say that there is a continued risk of scattered snow showers, and although the showers will be most frequent in Ulster and Connacht, the Status Yellow warning is in place for the entire country.

This latest weather warning was issued at 10am on Thursday morning and is valid from that time until 12 noon on Friday.

Temperatures are expected to dip to as low at -2 degrees on Thursday and Friday night, while the outlook for the weekend is for slightly milder nighttime temperatures.
