Blue skies and winter sunshine are on the forecast for today
The weekend will kick off with bright blue skies and winter sunshine. After the recent bought of freezing temperatures and snowy, icy conditions, it will come as a welcome break for many.
Local weather expert, Louth Weather's forecast for Friday says: “Friday is the pick of the week. Lots of blue skies and winter sunshine. Dry. Max 6°C in a moderate NW wind. Frost Friday night.”
Saturday will also start out sunny, but get cloudier later on in the day.

Sunday will be largely dry, with light rain. "Sunday morning will see a period of light rain. The afternoon should be dry but cloudy. Milder than of late at 11°C," said Louth weather.
By next week, things will really start looking up. “Next week looking mild with temperatures up to 13°C,” said Louth Weather's most recent forecast.
