LOUTH County Library kicked off the Christmas season by hosting a festive children's art workshop on Saturday, November 25.

The workshop was organised by staff at the library on Jocelyn Street, Dundalk and run by Dublin-based storyteller Simone Schuemmelfeder.

It was attended by over 20 local children and their parents. The children made Christmas crafts such as Christmas trees, sleighs and items for an advent calendar.
