Gardaí have confirmed to the Democrat that foul play is not suspected after a fire broke out in a house in The Crescent, Dundalk this morning.
Gardai were called to assist Dundalk Fire Services at the incident, where one individual was taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation – their condition is not understood to be serious however.
