Rachael's Room preschool opened on the grounds of Shelagh National School on September first this year. This marks the very first preschool in the area, parents and children alike are thrilled by this new addition to the community!
The service is run by Rachael Conlon and offers free ECCE preschool and afterschool classes. The preschool at Rachael's Room is open to children from three years and up and is based on Aistear and Síolta, the government standards for quality early years education. The afterschool classes are open to all children of primary school going age.
Rachael is passionate about the field and is highly qualified and experienced, having worked in the sector for years with an Honours degree in Early Childhood Education.
