Organisers have lauded the success of a group of LMETB Learners who successfully completed the Early Childhood Care and Education Supervision Programme in Dundalk.
Speaking at the presentation Mr Murphy said: “LMETB’s Regional Skills and Training Centre in conjunction with our partner MIDAS Training are delighted to present these certificates.
This significant achievement has already had an impact on your future as many of you are already in the process of securing employment and have job offers.
This makes your achievement extra special and sets a wonderful example for others to avail of the many training opportunities available in Co Louth”.
LMETB’s Regional Skills & Training Centre delivers a whole range of programmes in Co. Louth and are currently actively recruiting for a number of occupational training programmes open to all jobseekers.
Traineeships are occupational specific and industry endorsed training programmes which combine Training Centre and on-the-job elements leading to QQI Major Awards mostly at levels 5 and 6 and/or industry recognised certification providing access to specific occupations in designated sectors.
LMETB’s Peter Egan said “this programme is responding to labour market demand and the majority of learners are progressing directly into employment in Childcare or related areas.
