The ‘Golfers Guide to Ireland’ book has been issued recently and included in the awards they present annually, Ballymascanlon Golf Course was voted best pay and play course of all non-membership clubs.

The awards dinner and presentation was held in Glenlo Abbey Hotel, Galway on Monday 4 December with 150 attending from the North and South. The MC on the night said that Ballymascanlon Golf Course is a premier golf destination that offers a truly exceptional experience for golf enthusiasts.

Nestled in the picturesque County Louth, this renowned golf course boasts an 18-hole parkland layout that has been meticulously designed to provide a challenging and rewarding game for players of all skill levels.

The course, expertly crafted by Ruddy and Craddock, seamlessly incorporates the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The Waterford Crystal vase was accepted by Karen Watters, General Manager of Ballymascanlon Hotel and also present were Ceara Barrett, Sylvia Caraher, Gerry Campbell and Malachy Matthews who look after the day to day running of the course.
