Dundalk Stadium celebrates 20 year anniversary with party today

Dundalk Stadium is proud to announce its 20th anniversary since opening its doors on the 29th of November 2003, opened by the then minister for sport John O'Donoghue, Dundalk Stadium was born.

Since 2003, Dundalk Stadium has become the only all-weather racecourse in Ireland, and one of the only dual-purpose racecourses in Europe.

Racing both horses and greyhounds, even on the same night. The Co. Louth venue has been dedicated to offering customers the most unique and exhilarating experience, and are delighted to be one of the main tourist’s attractions in the North East.

The management and staff are excited to celebrate this outstanding milestone.

Over the past two decades, the racecourse has grown and now boasts over 40 horse fixtures a year and two greyhound fixtures weekly.

To commemorate this special occasion, on the 29th of November 2023, Dundalk Stadium will be hosting their 20th anniversary birthday party at the racecourse.

Horse racing will commence from approx. 3.20pm with a commemorative greyhound race card following from approx. 7.30pm.
