The death has occurred of Rosa (Rose) Byrne (née Murtagh) of Sutton, Dublin 13 and formerly of Oldtown, Co Dublin and Dromiskin, Co Louth
On 4 November 2023, peacefully, at home. Beloved wife of the late Gerry. Very sadly missed by her loving son Stephen, daughter Caroline, son-in-law Doug, daughter-in-law Mary, also remembering her late daughter-in-law Pamela.
Deeply regretted by her adored grandchildren Emily, Noah, Evan, Ava and Eddie, sisters Bernie and Eleanor, brothers Denis and David and predeceased by her sisters Mary and Antoinette and brothers Michael and Thomas. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Thursday 9 November, from 2pm to 4pm. Removal to St. Fintan’s Church, Sutton, from Glencarraig, Sutton, on Friday morning, for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Dromiskin Cemetery, Co. Louth, arriving for approx. 1pm. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
