25 TidyTowns groups in Louth to receive grant funding
25 TidyTowns groups in Louth are set to benefit in grant funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development, it was announced today.
Minister Heather Humphreys announced the funding today at the SuperValu TidyTowns awards ceremony at Croke Park in Dublin. A special allocation of €1.5 million in funding was announced, for TidyTowns groups across the country to support the work they do in their continued efforts to make their towns and villages better places to live, work and visit.
All groups who entered the competition in 2022 or 2023 will be eligible to apply for a grant of between €1,000 and €4,000. Pobal, who will be administering the grant on behalf of the Department, will make contact will all eligible groups in due course, the Department said.
The groups in Louth set to benefit from the funding and the amounts they are to receive are as follows:
