Parts of Dundalk face water outages on Wednesday

Uisce Éireann (the new name for Irish Water) has said that works taking place on Wednesday 14 June may affect the water supply to parts on Dundalk.

Uisce Éireann says that hydrant repair works may cause supply disruptions to Mount Avenue, Dundalk and surrounding areas in Louth.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works, which are scheduled to take place from 9am until 6pm on 14 June.

Uisce Éireann recommends that users allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for the supply to fully return.
