There were debut appearances this season for the three players atop the Spring League leaderboard.
A couple of pars for Imelda Hanratty and some very steady scoring over all 13 holes to break 30 points helped her take the win in style and with some room to spare.
Denise McGuinness got off to a flyer by chipping in to birdie the first, then adding four more pars before finishing on a total of 28 points for second place. Three players ended up with 26 points, with Jacintha Cowley taking the third spot on the countback.
The Ladies Spring League is getting down to the serious end of business, with competition fierce for the top points in each competition, courtesy of some amazing individual scores coming in.
With team and individual prizes on offer every point counts, with the final outcome still very much in the balance. The best of luck to all those competing. Needless to say, we should be in for some exiting action in the weeks ahead.
