Deaths in Dundalk - Wednesday 22 February 2023
The death has occurred of Walter (Waltie) Gernon of Newrath, Dundalk, Co. Louth
Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on 20 February 2023. Predeceased by his wife Breeda and son Nigel. He will be sadly missed by his loving sons Roger, Walter Jnr., David and Garreth, his beloved grandchildren Neil, Bobby (Robert), Emma, John, David Jnr., Aoife, Dearbhala, Joseph, Cearaigh, Enya and Alannah, his great-grandchildren Fawn and Aaron, his brother Stephen (Stephy) his extended family, neighbours and good friends.
Reposing at Finlay Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee, Co. Louth on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday morning leaving Finlay Funeral Home at 11:30am to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village via Mills of Louth arriving for funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
