Meet the Louth General election candidates: David Carroll - Independent

Independent candidate David Carroll.

With the highest number of candidates running in any constituency across the country, Independent David Carroll is one of the 24 candidates in Louth running in the General Election.

A late entrant into the race, David Carroll who is a city trader based in Dundalk is running as an Independent candidate in the Louth constituency.

Carroll says that he has 30 years of experience in construction, manufacturing, as well as international and financial business.

According to Carroll's view: "management of the Irish people's affairs would be done with major votes to ensure everybody has their voice heard in laws and Bills that affect their lives."

Pledging to be a voice for farmers in Louth, Carroll supports zero tax on farmers for three years in addition to a 0% VAT rate on farm produce. 

With polling day on Friday, 29 November, it's all to play for in Louth.
