Inviting God back into Irish politics

Meet the Louth election candidates: David Bradley - Independent

David Bradley - Independent

Independent Candidate David Bradley lives in Drogheda. He is 69 years of age and has been married to Lorna for 34 years. They have an adult son and daughter, Brandon and Georgia. David is a retired Pensions Fund Operations Manager with eir.

Speaking about his candidacy, he said: “While I admit I do not have all the answers, I propose that, together with our political leaders, we should acknowledge the mess our country has become through the worldliness of the people and bad example from the country's flawed leadership, a band aid, unelected government put together by an arrangement, not the electorate.

“Together we need to invite God back into our lives. Only then, when we apply proper decision making based on biblical principles will we see a new day in Ireland. My message is simple: Put God, not the politicians, in charge of our country! We seem to have forgotten that He is our Leader.

“I humbly and sincerely ask for your No. 1 vote to enable me to encourage incoming elected representatives to acknowledge God in their work for the Irish people by seeking His grace and help in serving with wisdom, justice and honesty.

“Your vote will effectively acknowledge that man-made decisions have been a disaster for Ireland and the Irish people. Let us all, the electorate and the political leaders, bring God into the process of moving our lives and country forward and eliminating corruption."
