Unlicensed taxi seized in Dundalk during Garda and NTA crackdown

The vehicle was seized and Gardaí have confirmed that a court appearance will follow
A vehicle operating illegally as a taxi was seized in Dundalk this week following a joint operation between Dundalk Roads Policing Unit and a National Transport Authority (NTA) compliance officer.
It is illegal to offering transport services for hire or reward without holding a valid taxi license, taxi driver license, or proper insurance.
The vehicle was seized and Gardaí have confirmed that a court appearance for the driver will follow in due course.
