Par Developments Dun Ltd applied in April of this year for planning permission for the development at the Lower Point Road, which include plans for the demolition of two shed ruins on the site.

The planning application also provides for a stand-alone bin and bike store building; the provision of communal and private open space; site landscaping; boundary treatment; public lighting; pedestrian and vehicular access; as well as all associated site works and ancillary services and connections necessary to facilitate the proposed development.

A decision had initially been due on the application by June, but further information was sought by Louth County Council on the proposed development on 19 June.

Significant Further Information was received by the local planning authority on 15 October.
