Motorists in Dundalk are being advised of upcoming daytime lane closures on several key roads as part of essential maintenance and improvement works scheduled for later this month.

The works will take place on Tom Bellew Avenue, Blackrock Main Street and Chapel Pass between January 26 and January 31, 2026.

The temporary closures are necessary to ensure the safety of both workers and the public, while allowing the project to be completed in a timely manner.

Lane closures on Tom Bellew Avenue will run from January 26 to January 31, while Blackrock Main Street will be affected from January 26 to January 28. Works on Chapel Pass are scheduled from January 28 to January 31.

In all locations, lanes will be closed between 9am and 5pm each day, with roads reopening to all traffic after 5pm.
