A driver has been caught breaking multiple road safety laws after being stopped by Dundalk Gardaí during speed checks.
Members of Dundalk RPU detected the driver travelling at 95 km/h in a 60 km/h zone and observed them overtaking on a solid line, past a vehicle travelling at the correct speed.
When stopped, the driver produced a learner permit despite not displaying L plates and driving without an accompanying licensed driver.

The vehicle was seized, and Gardaí have confirmed that prosecution proceedings have commenced.
