Dundalk Sub Aqua Unit enjoy a busy few weeks

Dundalk Sub Aqua divers

Dundalk Sub Aqua Search and Rescue Unit divers, have been busy this last few weeks.

Between regular training & recreational diving every Wednesday and Sunday, DSAC have been involved in a number of community activities.

They recently assisted Inniskeen National School in their annual duck race, insuring everyone was kept safe, & all the ducks were removed from the water. Additionally they were also on standby with boats & divers for the Blackrock raft race.

Some divers went to far off places, like the great barrier reef in Australia to dive and the annual club holiday took other divers to Sardinia.

While those at home sought out dive sites at Islandmagee in Co. Antrim & this weekend gone to Mallinbeg in Donegal, were visibility & diving was perfect.

The club also wish to congratulate one of their team Jamie Horgan, who has spent this last four months in Norway training for his commercial divers licence.

Dundalk Sub Aqua Search and Rescue Unit are a group of Volunteer scuba divers who train all year round and are always on call should their services be required. They also work with all the emergency agencies throughout the island of Ireland.
