Dundalk FC make the tough trip to Dalymount Park to take on SSE Airtricity League of Ireland Men's Premier Division leaders Bohemian FC tonight. Kick-off at 8.00pm.

The Lilywhites made back-to-back victories over Waterford FC and Sligo Rovers on St Patrick's weekend, but the task becomes more difficult later when they face an unbeaten Gypsies side.

Speaking ahead of the game, Dundalk FC manager Ciarán Kilduff, spoke of the challenge awaiting his side. He said, “I think they've started this season very, very well. They're unbeaten, tough place to go.

“We're the newly promoted team, we've had a good weekend. We've picked up a few knocks, obviously a lot of the main ones being obviously Conor Kearns and not the ones that were in the media, but we've picked up a few since as well.

“Yeah, we're going to be stretched, but it's a great opportunity for us to go down and make a good count of ourselves once again.

“We were really good on Friday, probably not as good as we wanted to be on Monday and got the same reward, which probably shows two different styles, two different strengths.

“I think we're probably feeling a bit of confidence brewing now as well, but obviously personnel issues is the main thing now for us.

“Just making sure we can probably get to that checkpoint, which is the international break, we'll give everything we can now for whatever we have available.

“Obviously, we felt like we've got six points this weekend, but we want to try and find a way to go down and try and win the game tonight too.”

In team news, Dundalk goalkeeper Conor Kearns remains out with a long-term knee injury, while Aodh Dervin is suspended.

Ronan Teahan, Danny Mullen and Mayowa Animasahun will all be assessed closer to kick-off.
