End of year grading at Dundalk Karate

The club held their Grading Examinations before the Christmas season got into full swing

Dundalk Karate held their End of Year Grading recently, where members as young as four years of age, to the more mature members, took their Grading Examinations before the Christmas season got into full swing.

With Head of Dundalk Karate, Sensei Mary Marcus, 4th Dan, alongside Sensei Hoey, 1st Dan, Sensei Mulholland, 1st Dan and Assistant Coach, Gemma Kelledy, watching every technique being performed, it was with great delight that Sensei Marcus announced that everyone excelled and was triumphant in passing their gradings.

Afterwards, Sensei Marcus said, "With the dojo full of friends and family watching from the sidelines, it was a joy to see everyone give 100% to their grading

"I was especially delighted to award Freya Coady with her 10th Kyu Grading Certificate, because she has come on leaps and bounds since joining Dundalk Karate.

"I wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and New Year, and I look forward to seeing everyone back after our Christmas break in January 2026.  OSS"
