Then Dylan Hayes and Monika Marklova (player of the match for the hosts) won the final two games for the hosts to earn the Flyers a share of the points.

Meanwhile, out in Blackrock, Uncle Tom's Cabin played host to Punters Athletic. Andrew Duffy and Isaac Smith (P.O.T.M) won the first two games to put the hosts 2-0 up and going well.

But then the Park Street team came roaring back and Kevin Hillard, Alan Rogan (P.O.T.M) and Johnny Eccles won the next three games to put the visitors 3-2 up.

The decider was a tight and tense affair with Hughie Smith getting a narrow 3-2 win for Uncle Tom's Cabin to leave the final score 3-3.

Down in Bridge Street, the Bodhran Rebels hosted the Commercial Classics. Wins for Paul Watters, Trevor Doyle, Nick Hoey, Oisin Dison (P.O.T.M), Seán Doyle and Fra Dixon saw the hosts run out 6-0 victors.
