Tom Corcoran won the latest edition of the National Tile and Flooring Autumn Series on Sunday, October 19. A super back nine of 23pts proved to be key to Corcoran’s win as his score of 40pts was good enough to win by two points.
Playing off 24, he went out on 17pts with the highlights being his three-point par at the ninth and his three-point bogey at the fourth.

After scoring two points at the 10th for a bogey six, Corcoran scored 10pts over the next three holes thanks to a three-bogey at the 11th, a four-point birdie at the 12th and a three-point par at the 13th.
That left him on 29pts for 13 holes, and he took another 10pts from the next four holes thanks to a three-point par at the 14th and a three-bogey at the 15th, as well as a two-point bogey at 14 and a two-point double bogey at the 16th.
That got him to 36pts and a three point at the 17th and a point double bogey at the 18th saw him finish on 40pts and two ahead of Alan Wilson (27).
Wilson won Division 3 with his 38pts while Emmet McCabe Savage (7) continued his rich vein of form by winning Division 1 with 37pts. The Division 2 winner was Patrick Clarke (14) with 36pts.
Incoming Captain Michael O’Sullivan announced his Vice Captain, President and Junior Boys Captain to a packed Clubhouse on Sunday night.
Martin McDonnell will be the 2026 Vice Captain with Micheál Byrne as President and Roan Quigley Norton as Junior Boys Captain.
