Dundalk racing driver Logan Hoey, 16, and his team have had a very busy few weeks, competing in three weekends in as many weeks.

Logan has endured a tough start to the ICCR Junior Mini circuit racing championship, but at rounds 7 and 8 at Kirkistown (Co. Down) in late August, Logan claimed a very impressive win and third-place finishes in very wet and challenging conditions to move him into the championship top four.

Logan, who is the reigning double Irish Junior Rallycross champion, joined a host of other Irish Junior Rallycross drivers in competing at Lydden Hill in Kent, England, for the 5 Nations British Rallycross Championship.

Logan simply excelled at the venue, winning both the Irish final and the Irish British Challenge final.

Logan then moved on to Mondello Park for rounds 9 and 10 of the ICCR Junior Mini Championship. In round 9, Logan worked his way up from a starting position of fifth to finish an impressive second.

For round 10, Logan started 6th and on a wet track worked his way into the lead; however, he got hit by another competitor challenging for the lead, which resulted in damage to Logan's car, but despite an ill-handling car, Logan hung on to claim another second-place finish, to move him into third in the championship.

Logan now moves onto rounds 1 and 2 of the 2025/26 Irish Rallycross Championship, in a bid to claim his third championship in a row, and then onto Mondello Park for the final two rounds of the ICCR Junior Mini championship for this year on October 19th.

Logan is a very talented young man, but faces a steep financial struggle to move his career forward for next year, and sponsorship is required.

Logan would like to thank his current sponsors, FPS - Fire Protection Specialists, Dynamite Fireworks, North East Electrical, and Swan Rock Quarries & Duprint.
