Shamrocks Celtic 4-3 Villa FC
The U13 Shamrocks Celtic FC team progressed to the last 16 in the U13 SFAI Subway National Cup with an extremely hard-fought battle against Villa FC, Waterford.
Villa took the lead with an early goal after five minutes but Shamrocks responded quickly from the kick-off and brought it back to a draw when Liam Curtis finished a one-on-one with the Villa keeper.
Mark Kolosinskyi then finished a Calvin McCourt free kick to put the Dundalk side 2-1 ahead going into halftime.
Villa put Shamrocks under pressure right from the halftime kickoff and came back with two quick goals to put Villa FC 3-2 ahead.

Shamrocks responded well, maintained their work rate, and were rewarded when Calvin McCourt finished a Michael Bellew assist to bring the game back to a draw at 3-3.
With only a few minutes left to go, Mark Kolosinskyi stood up to take a free kick. Villa's keeper pulled off a fine save, but it fell to the feet of Calvin McCourt, who was sure to hit the net to put the lads ahead 4-3 going into the last few minutes. Shamrocks held on to get the win.
The Shamrocks now proceed to the last 16 in the SFAI National Cup after a fantastic result against the very strong and experienced side - Villa FC.

Shamrocks Celtic 2-1 Monasterevin
The U12 Shamrocks Celtic FC team progressed to the last 16 in the SFAI National Trophy after a 2-1 win over Monasterevin AFC in the last 32, in Bellew Park.
Monasterevin AFC conceded an early penalty at six minutes when Cillian Farrelly was taken down in the box.
Tiernan Ward stood up to take the penalty showed a lot of composure and put in the bottom left corner to get Shamrocks off to a great start.
Monasterevin didn't give up though and brought it back to 1-1 at nineteen minutes to leave it level at half time.
Twelve minutes after halftime, it was Shamrocks' turn to concede a penalty but Tomás Murphy pulled off a superb save to keep the game level.
The lads dug deep against a strong side to come back and take the 2-1 victory through a great assist from Tiernan Ward who slipped Cillian Farrelly through on goal and Cillian slotted it home to get the winning goal.
The U12 lads now proceed to the last 16 in the SFAI National Trophy after a fantastic result.
