The death has occurred, in his 66th year, of Sean (Mousey) Brennan, Church View, Dunleer, suddenly at home. Sean, beloved son of the late Michael and Christina (Ena). Sadly missed by his brother Jimmy, sisters Breda and Mary, brothers-in-law Tony Monaghan and Tony Sharkey, sister-in-law Geraldine, uncles, aunts, nephews especially Wayne, Garry, Shane, Christopher and Stephen, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (Eircode A92 V38H) on Saturday (Christmas Eve) from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Monday morning (St. Stephen’s Day) to Saint Brigid’s Church, Dunleer arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, which can be viewed live at https://www.dunleerparish.ie. Burial afterwards in Mosstown Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, in lieu to Diabetes Ireland at https://www.diabetes.ie/fundraise-for-us. Formerly of Lough Gowna, Co. Cavan and The Ferdia Arms, Ardee, Co. Louth.
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the excellent staff of Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan.
Predeceased by his infant son David Anthony, father James, mother Bridget, brother Peadar and sisters Mary and Ann.
Tony will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Katherine, son Michael, daughters Noelle and Angie, grandchildren Brianna, Jake, Layla, Danny and Abbie, daughter-in-law Nora and son-in-law Marcus, Derek, brothers Fr. Michael (Ferbane, Co. Offaly), Brian and Gerry (New York), sisters Betty (Boston), Breege (New York), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at his home (C15 P2K6) on Monday 26th December (St. Stephen’s Day) from 3pm to 6pm and on Tuesday, 27th December, from 3pm to 6pm. Removal on Wednesday morning, 28th December, at 9.45am arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Lough Gowna, Co. Cremation afterwards at 2pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

The death has occurred of Rena Hughes Rossendale, England and formerly of Church Street, Collon, Louth
Rena Hughes, late of Rossendale, England and formerly of Church Street, Collon, Co. Louth. 21st December 2022 in Rossendale in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Joe, sisters Nancy, Eileen and Eithna and her brother Michael. Rena is sadly missed by her loving children Patrick, Eugene, Michael and David, grandchildren, sisters Sheila and Lil and brother Ronnie, extended family and friends.
Burial will take place on the 4th January 2023 in England.
