Deaths in Louth Friday 25 November

The death has occurred of Vincent (Vincie) GAVIN Great Northern Haven, Barrack Street, Dundalk, Louth / Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Formerly Gallinagh, Monaghan Town. Predeceased by his wife Marian, parents Mary and Jack, brother Seamus and sister-in-law Frances. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing son Jason, daughter-in-law Regina, grandchildren Jack, Adam and Jessica, sister Maura, brother Seán, brother-in-law Eddie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home, 12 Great Northern Haven (Eircode A91 K297) from 6pm-9pm on Thursday and from 3pm on Friday, with removal to St. Joseph's Redemptorist Church, Dundalk (Eircode A91 F3FC) on Friday evening, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's New Cemetery, Latlurcan, Monaghan Town, arriving at 1.30pm.

The death has occurred of John Bergin Whitemills, Faughart, Dundalk, Louth

John, Thursday 24th November 2022. Peacefully at his residence. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Brigid, sisters Sadie and Betty, brothers Liam and Francie. John will be very deeply regretted by his loving family, sisters Ita Shields, Lena McGuinness and Maria Agnew, brother Michael, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Shevlin's Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Dundalk from 4pm to 8pm on Friday. Removal Saturday afternoon at 12.30pm driving via his late residence to Saint Brigid's Church, Kilcurry arriving for funeral mass at 1pm, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Lavina Collins Congress Avenue, Drogheda, Louth

The death has occurred at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her family, of Lavina Collins (Department of Foreign Affairs), daughter of the late Jim & Madge, Congress Avenue. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Margot, Ann and Elaine, brother Mark, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gerrard's Church, Mary Street (A92 CY24) on Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, James Street on Saturday at 12:30pm, followed by a private cremation. You can view Lavina's Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12:30pm via the St Mary's Church webcam. House private. Family flowers only.
