Bó Studios: A growing hub for Dundalk’s artists.

Located in the heart of Dundalk, Bó Studios was founded in 2020 after ceramicist Etaoin O’Reilly, then completing an Emerging Artist Residency, identified the need for accessible studio space for local artists.

She joined forces with David Callan, Blathnaid McClean, and Olivia Hill, establishing what has since become a thriving creative community supported by An Táin Arts Centre.

The studios now accommodate 10 professional visual artists and hosts a weekly pop-up gallery every Saturday from 1pm to 5pm, offering the public an opportunity to view and purchase work directly from the artists.

So why not make a day of it and follow Dundalk’s Christmas Craft Trail?

On Saturday, 6 December, visitors are encouraged to enjoy a full festive creative trail across the town.

Start the day with mulled wine, mince pies, and special discounts at Bridge Street Studios, stroll down Clanbrassil Street to explore a variety of local craftwork at the Creative Spark Downtown Hub, and finish at Roden Place with a visit to Bó Studios to discover the exceptional work of Dundalk’s emerging and established artists.
