Last weekend saw the latest running of the Paddy Cheshire 5K. A large crowd descended on Dundalk for what is always a very popular event.
In what was a field packed with talented athletes, it was Declan Toal who eventually took the honours, while the first woman home was Laura Mooney.
There to sample the atmosphere and take some cracking pictures too was the Democrat's resident photographer Arthur Kinahan.
