Peter Kay has cancelled his Irish dates for 2019
Comedian Peter Kay has canceled his entire 2019 UK and Irish tour, which included 6 concerts in Dublin's 3Arena, due to "unforeseen family circumstances".
The funnyman was due to play Dublin on February 1,2,3,6,7 and 8 in 2019.
Dundalk fans of the comic will be disappointed to hear the news - Matthews Coach hire had planned to run a bus service to Dublin's 3Arena to cater for Kay's many local fans.
In a statement from the comedian, Peter Kay said:
"Due to unforeseen family circumstances I deeply regret that I am having to cancel all of my upcoming work projects. This, unfortunately, includes my upcoming stand-up tour, Dance For Life shows and any outstanding live work commitments."

A statement from MCD said: "For Ticketmaster customers who purchased online or by telephone using debit or credit card no action is required as your account will automatically be refunded within the next few days.

The comedian was also due to play January 13,14,15,18,19 and 20 in 2019 at the SSE Arena in Belfast.
