Here's what's going on in Toales Live Venue in Dundalk this week.

Thursday 18th Sept - Fireside Sessions Presents CHRISTY O'HANLON (Crow Black Chicken) + Catherine McCrystal - free admission from 9pm.

Toales’ Fireside Sessions has fast become a Dundalk staple—an acoustic club where some of Ireland’s finest songwriters and performers strip it all back by the glowing virtual fire.

Every show is fresh, intimate, unforgettable—and always free, and is delighted to welcome back Cork’s own blues powerhouse, Christy O’Hanlon, frontman of the acclaimed power trio Crow Black Chicken.

Known for blending hard rock grit with the deep, swampy blues of Gov’t Mule, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Led Zeppelin, O’Hanlon trades his usual electrified roar for an acoustic set full of raw blues, rich storytelling, and undeniable charm.

Delivering Texas-style blues at its finest, the band is fronted by powerhouse vocalist Keith Caffrey (Shock Sorrow, Black Svan).

On support, local bluesman James Humston brings his soulful voice and heartfelt songwriting to set the tone for the night.

Admission is free, the beer will be cold, and the blues will be red hot.

Toales Live Venue, Dundalk, is set to crank up the volume on Saturday, 21st September, as Dr Fëelgöod, Dublin’s premier Mötley Crüe tribute act, hit the stage for a full-throttle night of L.A. Glam Metal mayhem.

Expect over two hours of hard-rock anthems, from the sleazy swagger of Girls, Girls, Girls to the high-octane energy of Kickstart My Heart, as Dr Fëelgöod recreate the raw attitude and over-the-top theatrics of the Crüe in their prime.

Tickets are €12 via Eventbrite or €15 on the door, with doors opening at 8pm for what promises to be an unmissable night for fans of classic rock and metal.

Sunday 21st Sept - ORBITER + Gravity Well + OSG + Cursed Sun - Doors 6PM - Adm €10

Toales Live Venue becomes ground zero for a night of unrelenting heaviness on Sunday, 21st September. Headlining the bill are Finnish doom titans Orbiter, whose sound fuses colossal, slow-burning riffs with trippy psychedelic textures and hypnotically soaring vocals — a truly cosmic take on doom that’s been turning heads across Europe’s underground metal scene.

Joining them are three homegrown acts guaranteed to keep the pit moving: Gravity Well, delivering progressive, sci-fi-tinged metal with intricate riffs and time-bending grooves; OSG, purveyors of fuzz-soaked stoner sludge steeped in desert-rock swagger; and Cursed Sun, a five piece metal band from Belfast, Northern Ireland known for their ferocious blend of melodic death metal, thrash aggression and pit-worthy breakdowns.

It’s four bands, one night, and only €10 on the door. Note the EARLY Doors open at 6pm — expect riffs, volume and a true metal-night atmosphere not to be missed.
