Upcoming gigs in Tolaes Live Venue in Dundalk

Geansaí plays in Toales tonight, Thursday September 5th

There is plenty of live music in Toales in Dundalk again this week, along with a Craft Fair.

Thursday 5th September -Fireside Sessions present Geansaí plus support from Saiv'n. Free admission, show starts 9pm.

Toales' Fireside Sessions is an acoustic club that showcases the best in acoustic acts, always inside by the "virtual" fire in the bar, always free admission, and is delighted to welcome back Geansaí, who brings his own inimitable style of parochial grunge folk, wrapped in a warm wooly jumper to Toales.

An aspiring discontent, Geansaí draws his inspiration from the various crises evident in modern Ireland, and the ever rising price of spuds.

Expect expertly crafted songs weaving humour, humanity, and an all-pervading sense of unease with modern life.

Wrap up tight because it’s a day for a Geansaí.

Support on the night comes from Saiv'n, a synthfolk outfit created by singer-songwriter Saidhbhín and producer Officecoffee created in early 2020, with the addition of bassist Niall Clarke (formerly of Third Smoke) in late 2021.
